Managing Lists - Summary

In this article, I demonstrated how to display a list of objects in a view. And although the terminology is a bit different, the basic coding approach is the same on both platforms.

As with the prior article, the default look & feel of a list is not very interesting. It was therefore necessary for me to alter the basic look and feel by adding additional text and graphics.

In the current list view implementation, navigation is handled by clicking on a button or menu item. Going forward, this app will use lists extensively, so it will be necessary to explore alternative methods for navigating between views. In a future article, I'll explore the functionality associated with responding to gestures such as a long press or a swipe.
